Like many celebrities, the 22-year-old rarely leaves home without a pair of sunnies. But what sets the model apart from other personalities is her impressive and extensive collection.

Adding a splash of downtown cool to all her ensembles, the blonde beauty rarely wears the same pair twice and she favors non-mainstream brands at varying price points. FEMAIL reveals her best styles over the last couple of months.

A pop of color: In Manhattan last week she stepped out wearing the Le Skinny Frame in mandarin by Australian accessories designer Poppy Lissiman. The pair retails for $98

UV protected: Earlier in the month she covered her blue-green eyes with sunglasses featuring dark lenses

Forget standard aviators or everyday wayfarers, Gigi opts for sleek, exaggerated shapes and futuristic styles that have a 'Matrix' meets vintage cat-eye feel.

Always UV protected, she covered her blue-green eyes earlier in the month with sunglasses featuring dark lenses.

Shady lady: Right before Thanksgiving she stepped out in in a sporty red, white and black ensemble complete with The Fugitive by Adam Selman X Le Specs

Finding a flattering pair of sunglasses can be tricky, but Gigi knows what styles flatter her oblong face shape.

Going incognito: Perhaps attempting to hide from the paparazzi, Gigi is often seen in dark sunnies. But the 5′ 10″ stunner is pretty hard to miss

Perhaps hoping to hide from the paparazzi, Gigi has been seen in dark sunnies on the streets of New York.

Her attempts fell flat on January 15th, as all eyes were on the 5′ 10″ stunner in Soho, wearing a simple Missguided sweater and a pair of Alain Mikli sunglasses.

Alain Mikli is a Parisian brand that prides itself on standing out from the crowd. They push the boundaries of fashion partnering with eclectic designers and artists who share the same dynamic values, like Jeremy Scott.

Last month Gigi complemented her white n:PHILANTHROPY tee and Maison Atia coat with a pair of oversize eyewear by Pawaka.

Committed to the accessory:  The supermodel often elevates her ensembles in eyewear that serves no purpose other than aesthetic

The supermodel often elevates her ensembles in eyewear that serves no purpose other than aesthetic.

On a snowy day in December, she accessorized her yellow dRa coat with a pair of clear Ray-Ban spectacles.

Earlier this month, the fashion model glamorized her navy blue Nina Ricci sweater and matching Sezane coat with The Flex eyewear by Adam Selman X Le Specs.  The $119 unisex accessory has little UV protection.

She added a pop of color to her all white ensemble on November 15 with the label's Isabella golden rod sunglasses with honey see through lenses. The exaggerated cat-eyes cost $230.

On January 9th, the brand's Baxter shades ($230) accented her pink Christina Ledang knit and coat, and on January 21st, a rectangular pair rounded out a Paradised sweater look.

Hand in hand on date night last week with boyfriend Zayn Malik, Gigi donned an all black ensemble complete with a Tamuna Ingorokva leather trench coat and shades by Gentle Monster. The silver stainless specs with mirrored lenses and monel frames retail for $250.

For a more laid-back look on January 13th, she accessorized her camel Sienna Zac sweater and matching Max Mara coat with vintage cat-eye inspired George Keburia sunglasses.

George is a self-taught designer from Tbilisi, Georgia. His eponymous label of futuristic and classic silhouettes launched in 2010.

On January 21st she coordinated rectangular illesteva frames with a Paradised sweater and pink coat.
